Stafford Loan Forgiveness for Teachers

Teaching who complete full-time positions for five consecutive years in low-income schools may be eligible to have a portion of their student loans cancelled.

Eligibility is limited to FFEL Stafford Loans, Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans, and some Consolidation Loans.

The Stafford Student Loan Forgiveness Program exists to encourage highly qualified individuals to become teachers in impoverished areas serving low-income families, so that those families have access to higher quality education resources than they would otherwise be able to find.

PSLF — Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness Program

PSLF program is a federally created initiative designed to help those working in public service roles navigate the complexities of student loan forgiveness.

We make it our mission to help eligible individuals with federal student loans get them completely forgiven, without Federal Taxes, after making 120 qualified payments.

Are You Eligible for PSLF?

You must be a W2 employee working at least 30 hours a week in a full-time position.

Your employment must be with a government agency or a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

You need to make 120 qualified payments under income-driven repayment plans.
